An Hour for the Ocean

Take time to turn the tides on marine debris – spend one hour at your local beach or watershed cleaning up trash to help your local wildlife!

In honor of World Ocean Day we hosted our largest clean-up event! From beaches, to streams, to streets we encouraged Puget Sound lovers to spent one hour finding trash wherever they were because it doesn’t matter where you are, all that trash ends up in the ocean eventually. The event was a hit and we received photos of people doing their part to put an end to marine debris from Mexico to down the street! Here are a few!

From our friends who collected trash deep in a Washington wetland.

To our friend who was away for World Ocean Day but still took time on his vacation to help out the ocean!
